Smooth-talking but ultimately dishonest agents
I'm a Paediatrician by trade, but have a small London-based portfolio

I wrote a negative review ~2 months ago but removed it following what I can only describe as an 'intervention/appeal' by LSS' director for me to consider removing it- something I regret doing. I should have stuck by my gut assessment of LSS, which by and large has not changed.
I have been through 3 separate property transactions (the final of which was my Parents' place- also the final straw) with LSS and can confidently say they do not care about the detail. Or about you really- regardless of whether you are Tenant or Landlord. They care about what they can get FROM you, then it's 'on to the next':
1. LSS agents will tell you what they think you want to hear, in order to get your business or pull a deal over the line. Money is undoubtedly the primary thing on their mind, irrespective of ethical compromises made in the process.
2. LSS agents do not value integrity (e.g. telling the truth and doing the right thing, even then no one is watching), transparency (e.g. being straight with you, even when doing so may compromise their bottom line) or accountability (e.g. only charging you for services provided)
3. LSS have no established/meaningful formal customer feedback system; only apparently instituting one after I complained about how the omission of something as basic as this demonstrates Customer Care is nowhere near the top of their list. I note the feedback on their website is exceptionally biased in favour of them- feel free to explore the more representative accounts you get across the rest of the internet.
The one agent I believed I could trust, proved to be dishonest, to the point of him continuing to tell bare-faced lies about events. This calibre of agent/agency is not my choice for myself or my family.
Alas, this is the way LSS do 'business', and very much in line with what you would expect from 'just another dodgy estate agent'
My Parents can do what they choose, but I would never use LSS again. Nor would I recommend LSS in its current form, to anyone I care about.
I'll look to partner with an agency more aligned with the principles I happen to believe are important…if indeed such an agency exists!
I wish LSS all the best in their endeavours. Whatever happens, you reap what you sow, so good luck to them.
