If there is a zero option, I would tick that one.
I would like to share my experience here to stop more people being tricked by them. Their staff called me and tricked me into their agreement as he did not tell me there is T&CS came with the offer. What I was told on the phone and in the email were not what they meant. Their T&Cs includes a lots of charges which I was not made aware. This includes You CAN NOT FIND YOUR OWN TENANTS, if you do, you will be charged with fee. If you cancel with their agreement, you will be charged with full fee, even this is within 14 days of cooling period. They call it 'FRUSTRATION FEE'. SO READ THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE USING THEM. Would advise you avoid them, there are other straight forward and clearer agents out there.
After I realised their T&Cs were not what I was told. I cancelled the agreement straight away, but they (the whole team includes the director) still demand fee! The fact is, I would have not agreed with the offer, if Oliver explained to me with all the key charges.
Complaint this to manager Jonathan, he never explained to me why Oliver did not explain to me the charge for should I find my own tenants, he just ignored me and sent me a invoice.
Complaint to credit controller, I then was called by Carl who is the reginal director, he said he did investigation with the Headington team, sent me an email with most of the points are untrue. I was trying to explain what truly happened, he shouted: stop talk over me. What kind of professionalism this is?
In summary, Read their T&CS as there is no transparency, no honesty, no professionalism, neither morality.
I cannot believe what I experienced is with high street, well known company in the UK.
If you are landlord, avoid using them
