Spoke with the delightful Louis today who was very disinterested in trying to help us arrange a viewing. The property we wanted to view had limited viewing availability but you would expect the agent to try to help and see if there was a way to make it happen, especially after I explained we were cash buyers looking to make an immediate purchase possibly above the asking price. I wonder how happy the vendor would be knowing his attitude was, if you can't come at 9am on Saturday, you wont be viewing it and that's that. Ok Louis and you may have just cost your vendor 10 grand with that, well done! Apparently this guy is a director too, jeez. He might have a fancy title but he's young, brash and fits the mold of the old fashioned stereotypical estate agent of the past. Ironically the lady who we were able to speak with later in the day couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and worked with us on a solution to the narrow viewing window problem. She apologised on his behalf but we would never use this firm to sell through after this experience.
