I hadn't decided if I wanted to sell or if I would consider renting my property. I had asked around and not one person I asked had anything but great things to say about Mark Antony Estates, so I asked for someone to come along and give me a valuation.
Sonja Laing precisely on time and on the agreed date. in a time of concern etc she was very careful and asked me about her being in a mask distances etc and was very respectful of the social distancing rules. Sonja was clear about how they came up with their initial valuation and potential rental as my property is quite unique in the area. Sonja went around the property and then discuss the actual figure she thought was achievable for a sale which was higher than the original figure. Sonja then went through the costs and the process and without being pushy left me her details to think about it and to get back in touch. I got in touch after the weekend to think about it and have found the whole team excellent to deal with, Katie was great in starting the process and quickly sent the photographer round., Beth was helpful on the phone. Brad was great at arranging the viewing and checking the convenience of the times etc. Each time I received a text just prior to the viewing and received a telephone call with feedback after each viewing. On the first day I had an offer just under the asking price but the third viewing that Sonja accompanied the person put in an offer of the full asking price, and no chain involved, all within a week. I didn't have a solicitor but MA even made a recommendation on that and following a very competitive quote I will be using that solicitor. I have had regular emails telling me what was happening next and keeping me updated.
Thank you I cannot believe how quickly you have responded and how efficient the whole process has been, I would recommend Mark Antony to anyone selling in the area.
