I have just contact them to arrange a viewing and they made feel like a second class citizen. We were looking at a property worth £460,000 and have a 70% cash deposit with a mortgage in principle going through. We were told we could not have a viewing until we submitted the following Passport & driving license for both of us and copies of all our bank accounts and savings as well as the offer in principle. We have over the last month viewed 8 properties in this area with other agents who have accepted out information without question. I would expect to submit this information if I am making an offer but not to do a viewing. On this basis our personal and financial details would have been shared with those 8 agents as well as the 4 we have viewings with next week. In this day and age of protecting your personal data do not feel comfortable with this just to view a property. The property in question has been for sale since the 1st July and has just been reduced. Either they are not getting the viewings due to the price or is it the hoops prospective buys have to go through which is putting them off. I was informed by the person at Fulfords that they are a national company and this is required in the current Covid situation to protect the seller, and as property is moving very fast they need that information from the outset . Well this is one property that is not moving very fast.
