Quick note to tell you about my experience with Foxtons....
We started our search to find a flat moving from NY to London, full of doubts and ended up been very lucky to get in contact with Alex!
He made easy for us visiting the apartment and signing contract the same day. It wasn't our initial plan but we are thankful to him now for his advise, the move is being much less stressful.
He's a great professional and went beyond any expectation, offering personal help, even after the deal was done. Real good service !
I will reccommend Foxtons and would use Foxtons in the future if I had the chance. Sincere congrats, do your best to keep Alex in the team ;-)

Gather your deposit paperwork, and put a complaint in with the deposit scheme., that they use, they are not allowed to do this you are entitled to argue this matter. They need to provide proof and I bet they don't have it ...

I think most of the aspects are quite good. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
