I did not make a complaint at the time but after receiving an email of the property we already viewed I feel justified in doing so.
My friend and I viewed a property in Knaphill on 28/07/2020. Our original viewing time was meant to be in the morning as we were viewing other properties in the area that day and had lined them up in accordance, I was emailed an hour beforehand telling me that this had been cancelled with no explanation as to why, I then rang their office to be told that they could only fit us in at 4.15pm, I informed them that this was an inconvenience to us as we do not live in Woking however we conceded because we knew that this was most likely the property we wanted.
We waited the three hour gap in Woking to view this property and the estate agent was 15 minutes late. Once viewing we sat outside and decided that we would very much like to rent, we then rang their office WHILST STILL SAT OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY to be told IT HAD ALREADY BEEN LET EARLIER THAT DAY, not only this but we were not offered an apology just "it's already been let, can we help you with anything else? no? bye?". We of course were extremely disappointed and angry as we had wasted three hours of our time waiting to see it and thought we had found the perfect flat.
My friend has now found a place of her own as she was on a time limit to move out, and now I am being emailed TWO MONTHS LATER and informed that the place we WANTED is actually available?
We are absolutely disgusted with the service provided to us by Manners residential and would like this to be passed on to Senior members of staff and would like a response.

I would like to reiterate my sincere apologies to you, and of course your friend, in relation to the catalogue of events in July that caused your dissatisfaction with Manners Residential. As discussed some of these events were beyond our control, but some of them could have been handled better. Rest assured I will be reviewing staff training needs along with a separate review of some of our systems to ensure, where possible, this doesn’t happen again.
As you have now received an explanation of the events two months ago, and also recently when the property unexpectedly came back onto the market, I genuinely hope that your impression of Manners Residential has become a little more positive.
