2 words to describe this company: Con Artists.

We initially were enticed to put our property for sale from another agency by the charming Jonathan who promised us that he would get the house sold easily for above asking price. however soon after he sent over the contract his web of lies started to fall apart. Conveniently forgetting to mention any of the clauses in the contract such as the buyers incentive scheme etc. Having finally negotiated an acceptable contract the house was on the market but in a matter of weeks we were asked to drop the selling price by £10k! Our refusal was not taken well and no further viewings were taken for the property.
After 3 months we decided to entertain the idea of renting rather than just making a loss. Willam H Brown were as scrupulous as ever claiming we needed a new EPC, gas safety certificate and inventory all at their own exclusive overpriced rate. Gas safety certificate person went in and did the test and what a surprise he found the boiler wasn't working (strange seeing as in 7 years it had never once broken down and was working perfectly well a few weeks ago). The cost to repair? A mere £310 for 1 part. no doubt it's made of gold.

Anyway this agency are not to be trusted. They are dishonest, money grabbing weasels

You do need an EPC ITS THE LAW

You do need a gas safe cert, ITS THE LAW, you are however free to use any contractor you wish

Again inventories are standard industry practice, you are free to do your own or pay for a professional one if not.

Boilers are never cheap and your not the only person in the world who has had to fix one
