When moving in on a Friday, my partner was delayed and wasn’t able to make it to the office before it closed. I was told I couldn’t get the keys without him so we had to store our items with family and stay there over the weekend, then get the keys on the Monday. At the office, all my partner did was sit there as they only wanted my signature - so we could have picked up the keys on the Friday after all. Obviously we were still charged rent from the Friday.

On leaving, they scheduled viewings and didn’t bother to show up, leaving it to us to do their jobs for them. They claimed “covid safety” but some people showed up without masks, parties of more than one showed up, and not to mention the safety concerns of strangers traipsing around the home of a young woman on her own (as my partner was working). When I raised my concerns, they didn’t even apologise and accused me of “not accommodating viewings” by asking an agent to be present.
