Empire helped me out when another agent let me down by double booking a property I was due to move into. Very fair and courteous throughout. Repairs dealt with instantly. Deposit was returned as per terms and fairly. Would not hesitate to recommend.

They can not keep your deposit, it must be protected in a government scheme, like DPS OR TDS, if this was not done you can claim back times the amount of deposit, please see link below, they also need to issue other documents on moving in; Gas safety certificate, EPC, prescribed information etc...
