I am the seller and builder of this property and I think it is very unfair to be blaming the agent given it was them who were urging me to stick with yourselves as a buyer. Unfortunately your demands for changes to the property and the need for your buyer to have completed by the end of July were just not going to be possible, hence why I withdrew from the sale to yourselves. I understand that this is frustrating but to blame the agent is really not fair when they have only acted upon my instructions, furthermore, the property was not sold from underneath you and you were not forced out of buying, various options were given to you, one of which was to see if you could seek temporary accommodation for the overlap and you decided this was not an option to you. I instructed the agent to remove the property form the market completely once I withdrew the sale and then decided to have a break from marketing before relaunching, the agent agreed a new sale within a week of going back onto the market with several parties bidding for it, the entirety of time agreed to yourself, the property was exclusive to you and no one else was in discussions over the property.

I am shocked that a site allows reviews like this to be added without having any factual base to them as through my many years of experience with dealing with agents, I cannot speak highly enough of Bourne in their ability to market the homes and deliver a fantastic service. They fought for you to buy the property and tried to work with the timescales and the demands for changes whilst also trying to manage your buyers expectations.
