I have only dealt with strike for 3 days in which they told me I could still view and bid a property that was spoken for. Then began playing me and the original bidder off against each other while telling the other they still had the property. I dealt with a guy * that was nice on the phone but clearly was trying to rinse us both of our money.

You was probably gazumped. If an offer comes in, any agent has to present that to the seller (legally.) If the seller gets a better offer, they are free to take that offer. I know it sucks for you, but I really can't see how this is the agent's fault?
