Do not rent from Naylor Powell - the house was in a dirty state when moved in and charged for damage not caused by myself when left (pictures of repairs prior to moving in could not be provided) Only one lady was pleasant to deal with, the rest were rude. Never again!

Charged for holes I didn’t make! Proved by photo evidence. Bad job done when moved in and if you had taken photos then and at every review - you would know I didn’t make them. You had to recover money somehow after the amount spent to make the house up to standard at the start. It’s a shame you have a great selling dept but your rental side isn’t good. People only need to read the reviews below and speak to previous tenants to know that! No customer care on your property management side. Enough said.

The total of the claim the landlord made for redecoration was £208 of which £175 was awarded to the landlord and £33 returned to the outgoing tenant.

According to Marc and the landlady it was returned in excellent condition! If you guys had done your job properly at the beginning and all the way through - you wouldn’t have made the charge. Also TDS returned part of your held back money to me! So sorry James Naylor Powell were at fault and I was right to take it to TDS. Don’t try and cover up your inefficiency!

Had the property been returned in an acceptable condition there would have not been any charges made.

As the findings from the checkout were not agreed to, the matter was sent to The Tenancy Deposit Scheme for adjudication. With all the necessary documents and photographs (including a signed inventory and schedule of condition), the independent adjudicator agreed with the landlords claim for some items of redecoration to be made good.

The matter has been resolved by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and it is regrettable that a bad review has been left after all the procedures for an appeal have been followed.

To clarify your points we do not assign an agent as you suggest, the team as a whole deal with each tenancy. Unfortunately the demand for Docks apartments is extremely high and we have a large and growing list of waiting potential tenants. This does unfortunately lead to a number of disappointed people.
