Every problem or task we asked them to do was met with promises and can do answers, but every time they did absolutely nothing until it caused extreme stress and myself and my wife having to go to the owner to sort it out. Took over 6 weeks to replace an oven that didn't work. They promise to call back then they just go home. They have promised to collect our post 3 times since we left a month ago but it still hasn't been done. I don't know how these people have jobs.

And I did get mail redirection but a letter with a cheque in slipped through the net and got delivered to the empty house. I was told an agent was going to the house in the evening and I could pick the letter up the next day. I drove 12 miles to be told it hadn't been picked up. Come back tomorrow. You're right they're not postmen. Postmen work for a living. Never want to deal with this company again!

Not good enough. 6 weeks to replace an oven is not good enough. Microwave meals and take-aways for 6 weeks is both costly and unhealthy. If the roof was leaking what would they do? Imagine the damage of 6 weeks of rain. Would walker jarvis leave any problem until they can contact the owner in thailand?

What tenants need to understand is that the agency does not own the properties, they are middle men so when something like an oven goes wrong they cannot proceed to purchase one until either the owner gives them the money to do so or in most cases that I come across in my professional experience is that the landlord unfortunately feels they know better than the agency and decides to take on the purchase of items themselves therefore causing such issues as you have experienced. As an agent myself I am on the side of the tenant a lot due to landlords not able to make swift and proper decisions.

Walker Jarvis have been managing properties in the Gravesend area for over 20 years for us. It's true things don't always go the way you want but that is normally due to tenants and not the way that it is handled. I have always found Walker ...
