As buyers, this is hands down the worst agent we’ve dealt with. We put in an offer on a property with the Corbetts Tey branch and didn’t get a response for 2 days. We constantly had to chase and all we were told was that they hadn’t heard back yet from the seller - and they didn’t want to ‘badger’ him. The offer was eventually rejected so we put in an increased offer and explained we were cash buyers, in the sense of not being in a chain. These agents told the seller that we were cash buyers in the sense of not needing a mortgage and the offer was accepted. When we confirmed to the agent that this wasn’t the case, the agent said they would need to speak again to the seller. That was 3 days ago and we still haven’t heard back. It has been the same story when we have tried to chase the agent - they haven’t heard back from the seller and don’t want to badger him. These agents are the complete opposite of proactive or ‘on the ball’. Avoid if you can.

The staff at Mark Bowyer could not have been more supportive. I just gave them a set of keys and they carried out all the viewings , as I preferred not to be in the house and not to have personal contact with any prospective buyers.
