It is a really weird and awful experience for me. Hope there is someone treat this review seriously!!! And Hope this can help for the future improve.
Problem 1.
My rental house contract was until 30, May 2020. However, my agency sent me an email that I should leave before 27, May 2020. I did not check my contract at that time and I thought it was right. So I needed to extend the 3 days more because my flight was 30, May. Therefore, I paid around 120 pounds. However, I found the contract was until 30 of May while I am tidying up my stuff (29, May 2020). So I emailed that worker who is in charge of my house (also the same as who sent me the email leave on the wrong date), and that guy said she cannot understand what we are talking about and did not reply well. I want to talk to her but I just came back to my country so it is hard to contact directly.
It is obvious that she did wrong. First of all, I thought there is any rule in the UK that I need to leave 3 days earlier than the contract. That's why I contact her really cautiously and just ask her first. However, she never admits her mistake and is still delaying this problem.
Problem 2
When I was leaving on 30, May 2020, my flight was early so I asked my friend to return my keys to the Agency. However, my friend put the key on the wrong agency(B agency) next building of the real agency(A agency). This totally my mistake and I already apologies for it. Also emailed her for this problem (30 May), but she replied that she cannot find the key there (15 p.m, 1 June ). Also, she was ignored my email for those two problems for a long time.
So I asked my friend to call the B agency to check it. Then the Weird thing was B agency worker said he already gave it to A agency.
Also, my friend called an agency and the other worker confirmed that they already had. This means only that the worker who is in charge of my house does not know what is happening in their office. Moreover, she sent me an email again, then she charged the key fee in my deposit (2 June). I called A agency through my friend and the other worker confirmed that they got the key.
Now, the worker who is in charge asked me for a copy of the contract and she will check it again and may refund it. And the problem of the key was already solved because other employees have already confirmed this.
Also, the issues that made me mad was the agent she was ignored my email many times until I asked my auntie to call her directly!! (because at the moment I'm not in the UK). moreover, she is really unkind to me and even to my auntie through the phone call!!!! Its hard feelings to me, I never be treated like this in the UK and this is the first time. This is a really bad experience!!! Fortunately, It seems everything is fine now but I am just afraid of happening again do anyone, especially who are from abroad.
