I would like to start by saying If I could give no star at all I would.
When I posted on the Google review site some time ago negatively about A2Dominion housing Group it was removed by who is anyone's guess, but I do have proof of this in the form of transcripts from a subject access request I got from A2Dominion. But let's get to the nitty-gritty.
This review is about A2Dominion housing Group and more specifically the Bromley office in Kent.
This has to be the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you use your imagination you won't be anywhere near the truth that I can assure you of.
I reported that we had rats to this Bromley office. We were forced to live with rats for months as A2Dominion took its time to react to us reporting this infestation. We were then told that we didn't have rats after one of A2Dominions builders looked under our sink, he then took a plinth off and looked behind it. He went onto say "I can't see any signs of rats, mice, droppings or any holes". A week or so later I caught these rats (of which I've posted pictures and there is also a video on YouTube....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeYx8WbwPFs) in our kitchen and delivered them to this Bromley office of A2Dominion. They rather reluctantly took possession of said rats, but then very rightly so sent out the rat-catchers rather quickly some 2 or 3 hours later, the exterminators found rat droppings and a massive hole which had been in use for a while so they said and it was about 6 inches by 10 inches under the sink behind the very plinth their builder had looked behind a week or so before (pictures posted of the imaginary hole ?, and the poor rats). The rat issues were finally brought under control after some considerable time.
We'd lived with abusive, aggressive and hostile neighbours in the past for about 3 1/2 years. They would 'accidentally' let their bath overflow and in the process destroying much of our things, in 3 1/2 years, they did this four times (pictures posted of the ceiling damage and videos on YouTube) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GdezcqP5NM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v10fb3FFK-U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbU61CXKDqs. Included in this deluge, we even had urine poured through the kitchen ceiling. We would get screamed obscenities at in front of our children in the streets, outside our home basically anywhere they saw us. We reported these incidents many, many times to A2Dominion, but they did little or nothing. Eventually, the tenant and her sister attacked and beat my wife outside our home, only then did A2Dominion move them, but by this time we were all suffering and continue to suffer PTSD!!!
The times I've had to chase emails and repairs are so long that I could write a book about it. For example, all through the winter one year, we were left with a kitchen window that couldn't be closed, (pictures of which I've posted) A2Dominion Bromley office left this window in this state for 7 months. My wife had to stuff the gap with plastic bags to stop the wind. This issue was finally fixed after months of complaining.
We waited for 5 months for our intercom to be fixed. During this time we had to get people to ring us when they were coming so we could answer the door. This issue was also fixed but we were ignored totally for the first five weeks.
We've suffered from black mould ever since I moved in 15 years ago. We were supposed to be having a moisture extraction ducting system put in but this has never materialised. The issue with the black mould along with many issues to do with the ex-neighbours 4 lots of deluge ergo water damage has yet to be fixed.
Finally, we had a communal back garden that we all shared, but because my son was autistic and the garden couldn't be made autistic safe, we rarely let him out there. But on one occasion we did let him out then when he was six. We had previously informed A2D some three years before this incident of a broken missing handle to the outside of the back door of our communal garden. My son was outside playing with his sister but she came running in. He came running in after his sister but because the doors handle was missing he put his fingers in the door as it was closing to stop it so he could get in. The door slammed shut on his finger almost cutting the top of it off. We won an out of court settlement over this incident.
I have extensive evidence to prove all of the above. The list just goes on and on. It's without a doubt the worst organisation I've ever known.
I have to state that we are no longer tenants, thank Christ. We finally managed to move from them after fighting for 9 years.
I would advise to avoid like the plague!!!
