AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY
So I’m here for a rant about Crawley and Gatwick rooms,
We moved in the property at the end of January with the family currently living there who stole Liams work phone and tried to go into my empty iPhone box obviously trying to look for my phone. This was just the start, this family would leave young children at the house all day (they didn’t live there) they would play with boiling hot water, make food and didn’t even speak English. We did complain about this then the family were moved.
We had a week of being the only people in the house until this other man moved in which we have had the most problems with, he threatened us one night at 2:30am because we asked him to be quiet when he was shouting down the phone, to the point we were so scared we put all of our sharp knives in our room and called the police. When we brought this up to Crawley and Gatwick room they said they had asked him to move but they can’t force him as they don’t want him to play the “race card”. But it doesn’t just stop there... he cooks everyday and doesn’t clean up after himself to the point the kitchen is unhygienic and disgusting,he smokes weed in the house, he always shouting down the phone, having multiple people round during isolation, takes things from our fridge then replaces it like no big deal
In General Crawley and Gatwick room do not care who move into the or property as long as they have the money to stay there but I shouldn’t have to flush after others have been to the toilet, have people opening my mail or people leaving the front door left wide open late at night.
Our neighbours has complained which myself and Liam have had to apologise on everyone’s behalf, we have contacted the police at least 5-6 times. Luckily we found a new place and we’re moving out next week and we asked Crawley and Gatwick room for our £200 holding deposit back for all of the issues in which they refused, not only for our troubles but also for the amount of breaches in our contract with them that was broken. Please please please share this and help people in Crawley and the surrounding areas not fall into the same trap we did and go into one of their properties, they don’t care about their tenants that just care about money!!

Tell me , do/did you get annual accounts with where your maintenance charge was spent?
We get a badly presented excel sheet that my six year old could do better.
There is nothing clear about anything on there.e.g.
Maintenance and repairs. - £2438.41
Maintenance fees - £1500.00
Gardening £1200.00
The only maintenance was the gardening and the only repair was on the stairwell lighting that his Eastern European chippie put in the year before.

Surely there must be some mistake? Andrew Hunt claims that although he writes on websites he is a Letting Agent he has nothing to do with letting properties and that a company which operates out of his offices and staff who answer the phone or who are contactable by email at [email protected] do not really work for Andrew Hunt and work for a completely different company altogether set up three months ago - but this review is from May 2013 so it appears Mr Hunt is trying to mislead various agen ...
