Dealing with letting teams in Chappell&Matthews Harbourside office is a nightmare.
It took them 4 months to fix the broken boiler in my flat in winter time, as they ignored my repair request in the first 2 months.
The Harbourside office lost the spare key to my flat. When I tried to discussed this issue with letting team, Debra Barton from letting team was rude and threaten me over phone.
Landlord showed downstairs and wanted to attend the property without giving a notice 24 hours in advance.
Before I moved out, I confirmed by emails/phone calls/face to face with letting teams and termination team that I would like to attend the property check out appoint. But letting team stopped me from attending the appointment by lying no appointment was book in the next few days after I moved out. In fact, a property check out appointment was booked 2 days after I moved out.
This property agent had agreed to refund my overpaid rent after my lease terminated. In the first week after I moved out, Dan Roberts from letting team in Harbourside office kept saying it was deposit team who would handling my overpaid rent. But when I called deposit team, they kept telling me it was letting team who would process the refund. These people kept messing me around. In the end, letting team could not pass the buck to other teams, so they said they would have a look at my overpaid rent. But 2 months after I moved out, I am still waiting for them to giving my money back. Nobody in letting team picks up phone calls or replies to emails.
DO NOT USE CHAPPELL & MATTHEWS!
