Horrible experience from start to finish. Only thing making up for their service it is that the flat is great and in a great location, but I wouldn’t have gone for it if I knew what to expect from touchstone. Rude, so hard to get hold of, it was an absolute pain to get my flatmate on the contract at all. Extremely poor communication, our property manager changed 3 times in a span of a year and not once were we notified - previous manager would just ignore the emails (they were still at the company). When we moved out, our third manager quit and didn’t tell us, I didn’t realise she didn’t pick up our check out documentation until I chased her and got an automated response that the email was no longer in use.
We had to wait 6 months (wouldn’t even be able to count the emails and phone calls made over this issue) to get someone to fix our microwave.
At the end they tried to charge us £440 for cleaning, but upon being asked to provide the final check out report they actually halved it, which made us think the initial costs were pulled out of nowhere. Would advise to stay away.
