Unfortunately, due to extenuating circumstances with what is going on in the world right now, the Landlord of the property you applied for is having to self-isolate and is stuck abroad on Lockdown, he went away for three days and is currently unable to return to the UK. Due to this, the Landlord has decided to temporarily withdraw his property from the rental market until he is able to get back in time for you to move in to the property on the date agreed (20th March 2020.) As you can appreciate, all lets are 'Subject to Contract' and we made you aware of this situation as soon as the Landlord contacted us to tell us he was temporarily withdrawing.
I understand your frustration however to try and help you I sent you photos via email and arranged to meet you at a similar property we had available to let and move in to the same day you were due to move in to the property you originally applied for, to which you refused to look around once I had met you there. Again, I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you and your partner, however, this was out of my control and was ultimately the Landlords decision to withdraw.
