Having dealt with Leaders for the past 15-20 years, you would have thought that I could find at least one thing that I have been disgruntled about, but NO. They are all fabulous and are a pleasure to deal with. My flat is not the easiest flat to rent but with Claires team each rental is seemless, professional and so so easy. They work tirelessly for the landlord and nothing is too much trouble. They are fair and honest and quite frankly I would not go to anyone else to rent my property. As Tina Turner would say, they are simply the best!

Reference fees are high and unavoidable. If you pay 6 months up front (7.5 months if you include the deposit) you still have to pay £60 each time you renew the contract.

What agent could do to change your mind?
I am not sure that there is a way to improve the behaviour of staff at Leaders towards Tenants as customers as it clearly contrary to its business model. I would however caution its staff, if they ever want to work in a more sophisticated industry like retail (unless its a pawn shop), banking (unless its the debt collection department) or any other type of business with customers (unless they are kept away from them) they will need modify their attitudes and behaviour quite significantly.

I worked for Leaders and was actively encouraged not to help tenants whilst always ensuring landlords costs were kept as low as possible. It was always made clear by the manager that the landlord was the client and therefore called the shots. During my short time working at Leaders I was so disgusted with the staff attitude and culture that existed there I resigned without notice. What agent could do to change your mind?
I have recently moved out of a property managed by Leaders Leeting Agency. According to my contract I was required to give one calendar month notice in writing if I wished to no longer continue with the contract. I gave them 6 weeks notice, but depite the contract naturally coming to an end (Leaders even asked me to pay ‚£60 for the new contract!) they refused to release me as my housemate wanted to stay in the property. They have also refused to return my deposit to me without having checked the condition of the property. Instead they have asked that the tenant replacing me to pay me the deposit which has not done. I phoned Leaders about this and their only solution was, "Well that's between you and the new tenant." I have therefore lost my ‚£500 deposit without any reason of justification. I strongly suggest that NO-ONE rents with this agency who are singarly unhelpful in all aspects of renting and will do anything to take your money from you. This is an appalling agency and I am digusted with the treatment they have given me.
