If I could put 0 I defiantly would. Worst company I have used for private renting. When we moved in we had no hot water for 2 weeks. We moved in in May and had no reason to use the heating just yet as it was very warm in the flat. Got to September time and we wanted to start using our heating, and it didn't work. We rang and again nothing was sorted for another 2/3 weeks. When the engineer did come round he didn't know what he was doing, as they sent an electrician to do it. So we had to wait another week for someone. When the correct engineer did come round, he was very rude. He asked to use the bathroom to which I had no problem with. He was in there for about 20 minutes, turning the tap on and off ( which I just assumed maybe he was doing to solve the heating issue) and then ran out the door without explaining anything to me or saying bye. I went into the bathroom some minutes later and he had urinated all over my toilet seat. And the bathroom mats and rugs were all turned over. I had no idea what he got up to in there. That night we soon learned we again had no hot water as the engineer just turned off the water to fix the heating issue.
We've had to deal with rats, rude people from the agency and a dirty flat since we moved in. Now we have left we are still receiving nothing but grief and harassment from them. About post boxes and when the metre is ect. What kind of company emails and calls previous tenants to find out key details about a flat that they should know!
We've had our front door opened without our consent and letters being left on our hallway floor. (We have no letter box and we tried to fit a letter around the creases in the door and it was impossible to get that letter inside with someone opening our door with a key). When we questioned them they laughed and told us we were ridiculous, the reason we questioned them was because the letter was a dodgy EDF dept letter for over £5000. We'd only been at the flat for about a month at this point. And after ringing EDF they confirmed that was not ours and there was no letter sent out to our address for that amount of money. The letter did not have EDF logo on it. We are sure they tried doing something dodgy and tried getting us to pay a large some of money, because we are young I'm assuming they thought we wouldn't question it and we would pay the dept in panic.
Joke of a company, they couldn't care less what happens to you as long as they get their rent each month.
