Sadly I have nothing positive to say about Property Bureau, who I am currently renting my home from. Avoid at all costs. They will not fulfill their legal responsibility as a letting agent to provide accommodation that is water tight, heated sufficiently, and functioning to a reasonable standard. Expect emails to be ignored, blatant lies to be formulated, and hours of your time and energy to be wasted.

I 100% agree with you Lorna. My house is not air tight. I have old wooden doors and can actually see outside from the bottom. Window handles are broke, floor damage with leak, ceiling damage. Nothing gets fixed yet they want to do house inspections 5 times a year. Reported my problems and nothing was done. Do you have an email address for them please?

What agent could do to change your mind?
Be there for both tenants and landlord. Help the tenants more (when it comes to property maintenance) - they are the middleman between the tenant and landlord but they clearly failed.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Acknowledged problems, attempted to fix them, left the flat in a reasonable state (it was disgusting) and not expect it to be in a better state when keys handed back (although it was by far). Not be so blatant in cheating the tenant out of the deposit and by sticking to the terms of the lease agreement.
