I am a landlord with multiple city centre apartments in Sheffield, plus a terraced house in Birmingham, and have used Sheffield Residential for a number of years. They manage my Birmingham property from afar and do so seemlessly.
I feel the need to voice praise and review as I was recently shocked to receive a rental payment on Christmas Day for one apartment and 31st December at approx 8pm for another! I was even provided an update on a late rent situation over Christmas as a tenant of ours was overseas. Very impressed.
I have always been particularly impressed with their marketing, pictures, videos and more recently social media. My Royal Plaza apartment is always let at maximum rent, as are my apartments at West One.
Recently, in what has been a tougher market (I think because of the influx of student blocks erecting across the city) my apartment at West Point was vacant for almost a month. In this time, whilst remaining on and being refreshed on Rightmove of course, Sheffield Residential used clever video advertising on social media and secured a tenant for a rent I was happy with. This whilst others were vacant on the market with other agents.
I’ve spoken to Ed, Jordan, Josh and 2 Sophie’s over the years and all have always been informative, providing accurate and honest feedback and analysis and not being afraid to advise when works are required or when money needs to be spent to compete and continue to achieve maximum rental income.
