We rented a flat from Squarefoot Apartments, not for our own choice (the flat management has been handed over from a different renting agency to this one), for about 3 years. Our overall experience was awful to say the least.
When we had any issue (just to mention one, a massive water leak, hidden below the flooring, requiring investigation and repair which caused 1 out of 2 bathrooms been out of order for months and subsequently mould growing everywhere because of the delayed investigation and repair) the agency delayed to acknoledge the problem and to act on it. We have been left months waiting, living in unhealthy and unsafe conditions, all of that while pregnant and soon after with a newborn in the household.
The staff, from the agency manager to the last of the co workers, has been dishonest, unprofessional and incompetent. And if that's not enought, they tried up to the very last minute to rob us, wanting to detract a silly amount of money from our deposit adducing false reasons and without any proof to justify their requests. Over time, we rented various properties from different agencies allover the country but this has certainly been the worse experience ever. I wish I could go back and rent another place from a different agency and forget what has happened. I can only said I'm glad we moved out and this experience is over.
