These crooks delayed everything and made me sign the contract 7th of AUG! (While I was at work, around 5pm, and they were closing at 6pm). I didn't even have time to read the contract because I was at work and they were due to close. They put down deposit every month 8th, tenancy start 8th of Aug, tenancy ends 12th of Nov. WTF!? who starts an agreement on 8th and ends it on 12th???
You can almost never get through someone when you contact them via phone, "sorry it is not possible to connect this call as this mail box is full" message you hear almost all the time.
Half the time we get delayed response through emails.
You need to go to their office if you want something done!

Their service is quite poor and shameful!
Delayed in presenting the contract, giving contract day before key.
Our room does not even have a lock! The admin was telling us we have to pay additional £45-50 to have a lock installed in the room!
Before moving in, we requested they clean the room, and remove furniture with moulds and provide a new bed. We moved in and room was not clean enough, one of the wardrobe still had garlic rubbish skins. The new bed was delivered to the wrong room and me and my wife had to move the new bed to our new rooms, they should have done this, not us breaking our backs!
They take your deposit and lie to you they put it in a deposit holding service. They spend your deposit and wait for next tenants to move in, then they use that tenant's deposit money to pay you back. According to their contract it takes up to 2months to refund your deposit.
We were delayed in handing the key back on vacant day (12th Nov), and these basta...s kept calling us they needed the key back. They talked as if we were the one holding the only key to that room. They have spare keys given to cleaners, and for their agents to come in and show people room viewings!

Renting a room WITHOUT locks! Meaning anyone can come into your room at anytime.
The flat also had a rat problem! They called an exterminator, and the guy did not even kill the rat.
Later we had a toilet leakage, apparently the rat ate the pipe in the toilet, which caused flooding in the toilet, absolutely disgusting!!! Poo stuck in the toilet, with horrible bad smell for weeks!

A lot of broken fixtures! Bathroom broken fixtures!
After a month the maintenance manager actually came to fix some of the broken fixtures with the lazy cleaner. (cleaner is another story).
We already told Silverrooms to clean the mould, they gave excuse that maintenance has priority tasks....it has been 3 months, till we moved out nothing was done!

Part of the monthly fee rent includes £20 cleaning fee.
Now this is the ridiculous part!
Apparently the cleaner comes and cleans the flat very few weeks, and cleaner gets paid weekly! (cleaner comes almost every 3 weeks or 2 weeks)
each tenants pays £20 added to their monthly rent.
There are 5 of us living in that flat, so the cleaner was earning £100 every WEEK for doing NOTHING!!!
The cleaner did a piss poor job, NOTHING was f**ng clean! Moulds everywhere, bathtube with stain, bathroom wall with stain, toilet seat still dirty. Was this what we paid for???
It took almost a month for Silverrooms to change that lazy basta**. Another cleaner came bringing her child to clean, this is illegal and silverrooms should be investigated for exploitation! Then the 3rd cleaner they brought Paul (deserves recognition), did an amazing job, he was doing the cleaning well!
because of me/wife complaint, Silverrooms refunded just £5 OFF our cleaning fee for 1 month.
The rat ate everyone's food, and my wife's £20 worth of food. Silverrooms refunded us £20 off our rent fee, which was cool.
Fridge was another problem we have just 1 small fridge freezer with 6 people living in the house. And another freezer, everyone found it difficult with fridge space, nothing was done for this.
Did I mention Silverrooms is also London Corporate Apartments ?
