Not impressed
My view is if you can't ensure the little things are correct then I'd worry about the big stuff.
Seen way too many Hunters adverts boasting about tv 'Arials' (it's a font not a TV jack), and 'Terreced' houses, so it was begging the question that if they can't even manage a spell/grammar checker then how careful would they be with the sale of my house?
Went to view a house that was empty, riddled with damp and needed gutting (I was after a project!) - therefore it needed a good viewing and not a quicker one which might have been the case with a fully maintained and lived in home. We arrived to find someone already viewing and the newbie agent spent a bit of time chatting to him, only to discover 15 minutes in "I need to get back to the office now, we're only supposed to allow 20 mins for viewings", and we hadn't even seen the back of the house from the outside. It would have been useful to have known this before we started looking.
Gave feedback to the office that as a run down property, they should have allowed longer viewing time as there are a lot of defects to assess, only to be told "You can arrange a second viewing if you like". I chose not to.
On the grounds of the above I also chose not to allow them to market my home as I didn't appreciate the attitude and lack of attention to detail in the advertising. That and coupled with the fact I work 9-5 Monday to Friday and they refused to come and give me a valuation on a weekend.
The same property was up for sale with Waite and Co, Paul their rep quite happily showed me round on a Sunday, allowed us 45 mins to explore every nook and cranny, answered all our questions and offered helpful tips in terms of accommodation they could offer between moves, tips on building work etc and quite frankly shone Hunters into the shade. Only regretting that we didn't pick Waites to sell our house now!
