Disappointing.
I decided to pay extra for a viewings package. This was a mistake. Doorsteps use a separate estate agent for this service and as a result, this causes endless confusion as the 2 companies don't appear to communicate at all!
I had a viewing arranged by Doorsteps when the estate agent didn't have my keys. I was on holiday and Doorsteps continued to try to book viewings, despite me telling them that this wasn't possible as I was away and they had no access to the property. When I got back, it took me several days to get into contact with the estate agent to collect my keys, and in the meantime, Doorsteps still booked in viewings. In the end, I contacted a potential buyer directly, and did the viewing myself (which was completely ridiculous as this was why I had paid an additional fee so that I didn't have to do any viewings!) This potential buyer informed me that they had 3 viewings to see my property rearranged by Doorsteps and found their communication poor.
Ultimately, Doorsteps communication has been awful. Their communication with me has been confusing and inconsistent, and their communication with the company that does their viewings appears to be non-existent.
I really regret my decision to use this company. It has proved to be a waste of time and money.
