It's easy to forget to leave a review for a service when life is so busy, but I had to make sure I found time to leave one for Village Estates because of how genuinely brilliant they have been. From start to finish they have provided a first class, professional service. That aside they are also really nice people and were a pleasure to work with.
We used Village Estates for our Sale and Purchase. Charlie came to value our property and he had a really good grasp of the market. We had valuations from two other agents but it was clear that Charlie knows what he is talking about. He was charming, confident and very open and honest, providing a realistic and sensible valuation. Unlike the other two agents, he did not patronise me in any way and wasn't at all pushy, and that's why we made the decision to go with them and it was definitely the right choice for us.
From there Serena managed all of our viewings and was equally charming, polite and professional. She treated our potential buyers very well which we really appreciated and we never had to wait for any feedback. Without having to ask, she constantly kept us reassured everything was going well, was very positive about our house and in no time at all (within two weeks) we sold our house.
As I say I honestly feel that Village Estates really take care to understand their clients and the market. They knew exactly what we were looking for and only 3 days after securing us a sale helped us find our new home.
Liz managed the exchange and completion and all I can say is what a woman! She went above and beyond to keep things moving quickly providing us with regular updates and we never had to chase anything up. She delivered on all fronts, and acted as a gateway between us, our sale, our purchase and our solicitor.
They say moving is stressful, but for us there has been zero stress. The team at Village kept the process seamless from beginning to end and if Liz, or Serena weren't around to answer a question there was someone else there who could. They are really on the ball.
Just one additional point, I would also recommend to anyone using Village to go and have a chat with their Mortgage broker if they offer you this service. We had an agreement in principle however after having a talk with them, they were able to find us a much better product with a lower interest rate. They also took care of that side for us too including the application and liaising with the solicitor - another stress taken care of for us.
