We have been searching for a flat in Manchester for about three weeks, at which time we were convinced we've seen it all: overpriced flats, incompetent agents and expensive agency fees. We booked appointments with several of the well-known agencies across Manchester in search for the perfect flat and we were shocked by how much they actually know about the properties they are supposed to be managing--one actually can't find the house (apparently they took photos of the wrong house, so even the ad was wrong), another claimed the Council tax band of the property is A (which we thought was impossible, and upon checking was in fact a D), and yet another didn't have the entrance codes to the building and the flat. When we booked an appointment with We Let Properties (at which point we were convinced we don't have to be on time since every single one of the agents we've booked with in the past came late), we were surprised to receive a call from Emma at promptly the agreed time to check that we are on our way and that she is indeed waiting for us at the property. The viewing went smoothly, we found the flat in excellent condition, Emma was able to answer all our questions about the property, and the whole thing was conducted with utmost professionalism we decided to make an offer within hours of viewing the flat and dealing with We Let Properties (even if we have to wait about a month for the flat to be available since there is still a running tenancy, it was well worth it!). And even after that it was smooth sailing--the paper work was done efficiently (no chasing after the agency to check what happened with our offer or finding out later that the property we made an offer for has actually been off the market and the agent didn't know). Matthew helped us with the forms and in completing required documents, and the whole move was stress-free, many thanks to him. We Let Properties has been nothing short of amazing throughout the whole process that we can't recommend them highly enough!
