I am naturally very disappointed to read this comment.

All new properties that we take on the market get automatically emailed to prospective customers. Perhaps in this instance we didn't have an email address for Alan. We are in the process of ensuring that we have email addresses for all prospective customers to try to ensure this does not happen again.
