We were left feeling disappointed and after being on the market with Michael Poole's Middlesbrough office for 11 weeks terminated our contract with them feeling 3 months had been wasted, frustrated that those wasted three months had landed us into a time of the year when people aren't thinking about buying houses. Although presented well on the on line portals and in the brochure we always felt it had been overpriced in the first instance, perhaps to secure our business ? The regular staff at the Middlesbrough office demonstrated poor communication, poor people skills and they just didn't want to listen. The several temporary staff standing at the Middlesbrough office, drawn in from other offices were very quick on the mark to let you know they did not know anything, that they were just answering the phones. The regular staff at the Middlesbrough office told lies to us as vendors and to the viewers about company viewings availability. Company viewings could take 7 - 10 days because there is only one part time viewer employed to cover the Middlesbrough office, working 3 days a week until 4.30 pm and every other Saturday morning. The Manager did tell us that he would do our viewings but his staff really don't like him to do viewings and prefer him out of the office doing valuations whilst they sit "waiting for Rightmove" to sell the houses on the books. This is what a member of the office staff told us happens these days, it's all down to Rightmove, that no, they don't call round about specific houses and would not believe that yes, we do have estate agents call us about properties we might like before they even get on the market. After a complaint to the office manager, one member of his staff did try her best, but .... by this time, her two colleagues had done the damage and we had lost all faith and trust in Michael Poole.
