Yet another negative review for NOPS. I should have read the reviews before renting from them, but given the time of year -sep- there were very few agency options left on the market (The real reviews ). When I moved to the flat, it had a strong smell of paint, and nothing worked, the fridge didn´t work, the shower didn´t work, the washing machine didn´t work, and even the blinds were stuck. Clearly they didn´t check anything before letting, and they just wanted to rent and get the money. Things eventually got fixed after a couple of weeks, but initially I was told they were too busy to fix things. Its not what you hope when you move in to a new place, and paying expensive rent/deposit. Hannah the person in charge of the letting was very rude when setting the move in date, and also rude to international students who were at the office at the time. Avoid them and please do choose other companies. Now I switched agency and things are way better.

I should have read the comments as well... there were not a lot of options left so I had to deal with them. I visited beforehand a flat. When I was about to pay they told me it was not available anymore but another one in the same building was available. And here I am in a old and dirty place when the other was renovated. The word? I am paying 50£ more than the other one for a flat in very poor condition...

Anyone reading this should ignore this review and refer to all the others, this is plainly written by one of their members of staff, NOPS have a poor reputation for a reason, and that is that they treat tenants like garbage. They rent properties belonging to one of the worst slum landlords operating in Oxford, a bumsplat by the name of Oliver Cohen who also calls himself the "Rent Guru" (look him up, he is a real piece of work).
