In December 2011 we rented our property for the first time due to my job being rolcated to Asia. We were unsure of the process and what to expect.

We rang Leaders and another couple of agents. Gail Scannell from Leaders was the first to come and appraise the house. She went through the property, took photos and through general conversation it was apparant that she knew the local area well. This gave us confidence. In addition she was very professional, took time to answer all our questions and went through their service and the various options that we had.

We were very happy with the level of service we had received so we decided not to entertain the other agents.

On signing up, Gail helped us through all the paperwork and various certificates we needed to provide. Bearing in mind it was approaching Christmas, we had a number of people through the door thanks to Leaders. We had our first tenant in just before Christmas, which was perfect, as we were relocating in January.

We signed up for the fully managed service and have not regretted that decision. When we had our fence blown down by strong winds in the winter Leaders sorted the whole process for us.

Our tenants then decided to move out in the summer so we were left facing the prospect of an empty property and being 7000 miles away! However, Gail once again came up trumps and found us new tenants who moved in 5 days after the previous ones had vacated. It felt like we had won the lottery!

Unfortunately, the previous tenants left the property in a less than desirable state so a claim is currently being made against their deposit. Leaders have stepped up again and have submitted the claim on our behalf and are fighting our corner for us. It takes a huge weight off the shoulders when you have someone working for your interests that you trust.

We have been in constant communication with the Burgess Hill office recently and we always get very prompt and informative replies to our emails, from both Gail and Sarah.

Overall, I rate the Burgess Hill branch very highly and would thoroughly recommend Gail and her staff for their professionalism and efficiency. I trust her advice and recommendations and she has not let us down. We are very grateful to her and her team. Leaders must have many clients in that office but they way they deal with you makes you feel like you are their only customer. It is exceptional service and I look forward to our relationship continuing in the future.

my partner was badly overcharged because the horrible neighbor in upstairs flat number 10 was jumping like mad till late at night, I went upstairs one day and asked her- should I call an ambulance because my partner struggles with high blood pressure episodes and his face is very red now, she Ignored me and carried on for a whole year.I doubt her mental stability.My partner mentioned a problem to the landlord but the answer was- Not my problem, well it's his problem! because it's very unlikely he will have long term tenants with a neighbor upstairs who is so selfish! also we heard a smoke alarm in the flat upstairs going on and off as she forgot about a toast she put to a toaster.Well it shows that the place is not even safe to live in!
