Hey tenants and buyers beware,

I've been living in the power station for over 2 years and know many many owners and renters alike. We would all love for things to be run well but the power station estates team is so poor at their job I have no words. If you're an investor you'll probably make your money back but as a resident it's not worth it. You will be get treated like cattle no matter how long of a stand up resident you are.

Don't be mislead by how nice and lovely the development and shops look property management is miles apart.

Facts:
- Try calling Magda for any repairs, she does not answer. Only over email and you'll need to be home 3 days meeting 3 different 'engineers' to fix really simply things like a curtain drawstring. Many residents just pay for their own repairs to be done.
- The amenities such as the gym will be charged for - in talks at the moment.
- The estate enforced enormous standing charges on the residents without their agreement. Legal action is being considered. To clarify enormous, the charges for a 1 bed are around £150 a month even if you used absolutely 0 electricity.
- Marcella is solely interested in rental increases and will not work with you to negotiate an agreeable fee with the landlord (assumed I didn't agree to the new rent because I hadn't replied to her email within 2-3 days and proceeded to say we've got a new tenant at a higher rent so you need to be out by X date)
- Can't leave any items in the winter garden but no storage is available in the building. Threaten you with legal action if you don't remove e.g. a suitcase.

If you see the emails from this team they only order the residents around. Don't even allow a doormat at the entrance - again threaten with legal action because its a fire hazard.

It's just not a nice place to live because there are too many rules and regulations to abide by when all you'd like to have is a bit of peace in and around your home.

Could write much much more but its just tiring/exhausted by this team and glad to have left the power station.
