Right, so where should i start?
I've rented a property through northwood and what a nightmare experience it was been until the end, to start with on the day I went to sign the tenancy agreement and pick up the key no one was aware of me going to pick up the key and sign the agreement even although they the ones who contacted me for me to do so, when me and their worker went to check the property to my surprise the property was in a poor state, rotten food in the cupboards, dirty everywhere, a shed completely full of ivy coming through the roof, stuff left behind by whoever was on the property before. this caused my entrance to be postponed by 3 days which due to the circumstances i had no choice but to agree to. All would had been well if this was all it happened... After my first couple of weeks or so on the property or so a few other niggles at the property were reported to which northwood picked and choose which ones to solve and which ones to ignore, including the meter readings of the property after it was cleaned by them before me moving in, 3 months down the line and I was still waiting for them to sort this out as well as all the other issues they bluntly choose to ignore. Only after I stopped one month of rent did they decided to contact me in order to address those situations but by then i was already planning to move out and sent them a email notifying them of my moving date.. After all paid and me giving them the key back and leaving the property they decided to start claiming that I had not given any notice, and therefore would be keeping my deposit in full due to it and a few other items which they tried to charge me unfairly, after 2-3 weeks of emails we finally agreed on what would be charged and not although they are still refusing to release my deposit due to the leaving notice which they are denying me sending to them, they have asked me to forward the email, I have, sent a print screen, sent the email as an attachment and have forward the original one to them, after all this they reply was that since I had not provide them with proves of the email that my deposit would not be released to me... AFTER I SENT IT IN 3 DIFFERENT WAYS APART OF THE VERY FIRST AND ORIGINAL EMAIL SO 4 TIMES IN TOTAL...
After me disputing this once again they made me an ultimatum that no deposit will be paid back, simple. I wont quit getting was rightfully mine and i must advise anyone who is in the process of using this agency to think twice as they service is appalling and their lack of humility to assume their mistakes and attempts of making the tenants to pay for they lack of professionalism is absolutely wrong and they should not be allowed to have an open door to the public. I was warned about them by people who have used them in the past and I ignored them, please don't make the same mistake I did and stay clear of this people.

Yes
Just another show of how unprofessional Northwood is, if the director chooses to deal with his clients like this no wonder the people at their office do the same. Next step will be contacting the deposit scheme entity to find out what happened to my deposit.
PS I'm more than happy to printscreen every single email sent between both parties to show everyone how unprofessional they are. Which I think I will after speaking with the deposit scheme entity.
