To any students or anyone that knows students that are looking to rent a house in this area, please AVOID RIDGEMOOR PROPERTIES AND CINTRA ESTATES.

Me and my housemates moved out of our last property over 2 months ago, and we have not received our deposits back. When any of us attempt to contact them, they either hang up the phone, or let it go to voicemail. They also completely ignore emails - the few occasions we have got through, we were assured our money would be paid back to us on specific dates. These dates came and went and we still do not have our money back that is owed.

They constantly avoid contact, and if you do manage to contact them they'll agree to pay it back and then not do it. They have said they'd pay us back by at least 5 specific dates and those days have come and gone and it's still not been returned. My housemates and I alone are owed almost £3000 in deposits, and I'm sure there are many more students in Reading going through the same thing.

They are deliberately trying to pocket tentants' money who they believe are too lazy to try to get it back.

Anyone looking to rent in Reading be aware to AVOID Ridgemoor Properties and Cintra Estates.
