We chose YOPA for two reason, firstly they provided a no sale no fee option and secondly, their agent, Kenny Mclintock sold himself and the company very well. We liked that there was a Yopa hub that we would have access to as it would let us see viewing information and comments. This was all very important to us as we had been with a previous agent who we paid upfront only to receive an extremely poor service. We knew that YOPA would struggle to sell our property due to the 5 years it had been on the market with the previous agent, however we had more viewings in the first six months with YOPA than we had in 5 years with the previous agent. Kenny was always very easy to communicate with and it was only recently, due to lack of offers, that he suggested a change of agent to look at things from a fresh perspective. We were then transferred to Kelly McKendrick, also of the YOPA team. She proved to be just as friendly and approachable as Kenny and was also quick at getting viewings. Shortly after changing to Kelly we had a change in circumstances and were able to reduce the price allowing us to sell the property. Our experience with YOPA was excellent and we would highly recommend them. They have local agents who know the area so you still get all the benefits of a high street agent but in a modern internet age. There were a few wee niggles but nothing that would stop us recommending them. It would be great if the hub could be made into an app for ease of use and at times we didn’t receive an email from the hub letting us know we had a viewing booked but Kenny and Kelly were always good at calling and checking so we never missed a viewing.
