Dear Ms Shaw, I am sorry that you uncle did not get his £2000 reservation fee refunded but as I mentioned to you before, the money was paid directly to the developer who he will need to take this up with. As is normal with new build properties, developers do ask for a non refundable reservation fee in order to secure a new build unit.

Poppy I agree with your comments.
They tried to sell a property to my uncle who just moved to UK and is in his 70s. Alan de maid made him pay £2000 reservation fee
and told him exchange within 28.
They changed that date many times and land registry rejected the lease, it not being accurate.
He needless to say he didnt want to proceed also advised by solicitor.
Why wont ALAIN DE MAID return his money. The errors all came from them. Shame on you.
