I just ended my tenancy with CP walker after 2 years of renting a room near Beeston square.
I rented the room from abroad (Italy) as I had no chance to view anything before my arrival in Nottingham. A friend of mine visited the room, I paid the deposit and the first rent just before coming to Nottingham and signed the contract online, everything was really smooth and easy!
They always answered fast to the email and always were kind to me (Alice, Jade, Jonathan, Rex, Vicky, Remi, Julie, Matthew were the ones I came in contact with).
During my tenancy everything was ok but not perfect that's why I am giving 4 stars. They always repaired everything in a reasonable fast way, however, once I needed to pay 42 pounds for a call to the technician for the fridge as apparently he said there was no problem (but the fridge broke few months lates so I noticed the "symptoms"). Apart from that, the entire process of renting the house and also leaving the house was fine, I received the deposit back less than one week after I left the room.
I highly recommend cp walker, the initial fee was also really low (75 pounds) compared to other property. With the new law agencies cannot ask for fees, but they were honest with customers previously!

A touch higher than I'm used to around Notts, but cheaper than places down South. So I'd say the fees are acceptable. (No one likes handing over hard earned cash for what feels like "nothing"!)
