The most awful , inefficient, untrustworthy , unprofessional

The staff in the office are rude, the majority of them. They are unorganised , lack understanding in their role and are not trustworthy.

To date the DPS is still waiting for you to respond to them in regards to the single sided claim. At every step we have been in touch with your new agent Carol at Barratts, I have emails confirming we have kept them informed. As you are aware the deposit is protected by a deposit scheme so we have NO control over the overall repayment. There are rules and procedures to follow. Please refer to your new agent as they have all the details required to take this forward for you with the DPS. ...

Nicola your deposit was held with the DPS and they saw through the return of the deposit. If you have not had it I would suggest you contact them. You had every opportunity after the check out to put your case forward. I have a copy of the DPS repayment advise and you agreed to the repayment, if you hadn't then you and us would have had to present our findings from the check out. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
