My partner and I were renting a flat through APL for about a year. I would never recommend this agency to anyone. Our last day in the flat was a Saturday, we cleaned the flat thoroughly the day before leaving the flat, leaving it in better conditions than those when we moved in. We even cleaned deeply stuff that was not cleaned when we moved in as silicon rubber in bathroom, washing machine and oven (which we complaint about in check in report and never had an answer). It was not appreciated and instead they gave us a negative check out report complaining about the cleaning. Main comments were dust in areas completely inaccessible. Despite our complaints we have been charged 102 pounds for a professional cleaning which sounds a ridiculous amount for a two bedroom/one bathroom flat that was deeply cleaned the day before to a high standard. I have never felt I was being stolen in such a manner. They have also tried to charge for ridiculous ''damages'' to the property that had been reported in our check in report. Total of 137 pounds that was deducted from our deposit. We both feel extremely unsatisfied and we are even considering legal advice as certain things were not correct from their side, as water containing lead in higher levels than those consider safe with no action taken from their side (about two months with that problem and having to take different measures to avoid problems in our health).

No fees information available
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
