Terrible management, unfair charges & inexperienced staff.
Not a single member of staff (that I have currently dealt with) takes tenant issues seriously - they seem more interested in having posy photos of themselves posted across their social media profiles and the new buildings they are developing. Great that they have young, photogenic staff, but I feel tenants would be grateful if they responded to an email too and actually managed the buildings we are paying for.
For instance, the front door of our block has been left unsecured for over a week. Strangers have been entering the building and found wondering about.
In the past there were two strangers sleeping in the stairwell.
We found out the building had cladding which has been condemned and despite a letter under the door, we have had no communication explaining the situation or how it will be resolved.
Most of the online reviews are faked by X1 staff to boost their figures, we were told this by a member of X1 staff who was leaving the organisation. Seems strange that they would go to such efforts to do this rather than just improve their own service.
We can't wait to move out at the end of the month and will be avoiding X1 Lettings at all costs - we would advice others to do the same!

I can assure you our dedicated team of staff work hard to provide the best service possible. It is a shame to read that you have not experienced this.
We arrange for 1 or 2 photoshoots throughout the year and use these images for our social media and marketing.
I understand that detailed information was sent to all tenants in regards to cladding. The fire marshals have confirmed that we are doing everything necessary and the building is safe. If you require any clarification we are more than happy to provide this.
