Very rude and unprofessional. I was a tenant for 8 months, till I couldn't live in their place anymore. There were a number of occasions when the house didn't have hot water, and due to their service only being available in the week days, I had to live without heating and hot water throughout the weekend. There's only one fridge for 6 people to share. The bins are small, and the agency/landlord wouldn't monitor overflow of rubbish but instead every single house mate would get a threat of being fined if it wasn't cleaned up. It was very unfair because their were some messy people living in the house and I had to clean up after them. I have sent pictures to the Agency of how badly the pile of rubbish would mount up in the drive, I would only receive the same email about a fine, even though it wasn't my rubbish. The agency contact centre isn't helpful at all, once I had enough of living in their houseshare I ask for my room to be re marketed, desperately wanting to leave as I was very unhappy living there, the HP team reassured me that they're desperately trying to find someone for my room (I had a contract for a year with them which i deeply regretted), but a girl had moved in the week that I was fed up and found a new place (at this point I was paying 2 rents and had very little money left for living costs) the girl mention how she wanted my room but was told it wasn't available which was alarming. They knew I had to pay them rent to the end of my contract if they didn't find a replacement. I just felt it was inhumane of them to do that. Even at the end of my tenancy agreement they delayed the refund of the rest of my rent and deposit. They told me they sent the DPS link and now it's up to DPS, but I contacted DPS which is a trusted government website, and they told me that the link was sent to them on the morning they sent it to me. So HP lettings lied to by saying they sent the DPS link at the beginning of the week, when really they waited till the end. I was miserable living in one of their houses in Perry Barr, but they genuinely did not care for the well being of their tenant.

I understand that one of the tenants at the property, not yourself, reported an issue with the boiler not working on our out of hours telephone number on Sunday 14th April. A Gas Safe engineer attended to and resolved the issue with the boiler on Monday 15th April. As you know, we do operate an out of hours service between 5.30 pm and 9.00 pm Monday to Friday and 9.00 am to 9.00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
We have not received a request for an additional fridge for the property, if we had the request would have been presented to your landlord.
In respect of the rubbish that you refer to, HP Sales and Lettings have made several visits to the property to remove refuse when the local council have been on strike. However, tenants are expected to dispose of their own refuse in an orderly manner during normal operating times.
I understand that you contacted the branch and requested to be relinquished from your contract on 11th March. Your room was advertised with immediate effect and a new tenant was sourced, referenced and moved into your room on 16th April. At which point, you were relinquished from all responsibilities relating to the tenancy agreement. Furthermore, your balance of rent for April was paid to you on 18th April in addition to your full deposit return from DPS.
I hope this clarifies some of the points that you raised in your communication.
Regards
HP Sales and Lettings.
