I moved into a property with 24/7 around 10 years ago and since then I have never met my landlord. I live here with my mum who is unwell and we can't afford another house as she doesn't work. The property was fine until around 4 years ago. That's when the house started literally falling apart. The bath started leaking we called someone came out and took photos we never heard from them again. The ceiling literally caved in , in my mother's room and now she has no where to sleep except for on the couch in the living room. We got flooded more than once due to the ceiling caving in, it was extremely dangerous as it was next to the boiler. We called so many times and after threatening to go to the papers that's when someone came out to see the damage. They came out and took pictures and never saw them again. Our back room window got smashed in, they said they would repair it but instead put cardboard on it for 2 years and then eventually fixed it. The heaters do not work. Our house has old pipes which means it smells like sewage in our house at night , there is dampness too which isn't good for my health or for my unwell mothers. There is a hole in the kitchen wall which happened because 24/7 cut corners and used a fake wall for the kitchen which caused a fire. The fire men had to put smoke detectors in the house because we had none which is against the law by the way and dangerous !. Our bath has been broken for around 3 years there is a massive hole in it and no matter how hard we try no one will come out and fix it. I have to go elsewhere to have a bath or shower when I shouldn't have too!. There is a hole in the bathroom underneath the bathroom sink. We had to remove the carpet from the other room we had because it was covered in dampness and mould. The ceiling constantly leaks it's ridiculous. Not to mention we haven't even met our landlord the entire time we've been staying here
