A Grade II stone-built farmhouse and newly-planted woodlands in the wilds of mid-Wales is not the easiest of properties to market. Over the two years it took to find the right buyer - an important consideration as I didn't want the woods separated from the property - Dan Reese at Savills in Cardiff was unfailing courteous, patient and understanding. The sale went through smoothly, as did the purchase on the same day of my new flat in Acton, also via Savills.
