“Terrible Agent for the Buyer...”

Well, the fees might be free for the seller but let me assure you, for the buyer, this estate agent is an absolute joke!

It took me the best part of 3 days to sort out a viewing, only after speaking to the vendor directly as the agent didn't pass along all the time slot's I was free for. I got absolutely no information from the estate agent other than what was on Zoopla, and thankfully, the vendor was fantastic.

After viewing the property we fell in love with it and immediately wanted to put in an offer. I phoned the agent up, only to get through to a call centre and before I could finish what I was wanting to say, I was told I would be phoned back and essentially hung up on.

TWO DAYS LATER, after hearing nothing at all from the estate agent, and waiting nervously, not wanting to pester the vendor and blow the deal, I called the estate agent to ask why I hadn't had a call back. The lady on the line said that she would put the offer in straight away and wasn't sure why I wasn't able to the last time I called...

I've heard nothing but bad things from my mortgage broker too, who has told me how she spent the best part of a day trying to contact someone there. Useless!

I hear they are free. Probably explains the awful service.
