My house sale with another agent was a roller coaster ride over 7 months which affected my purchase with Manning Stainton. Rebecca went well beyond the call of duty to try to progress the sale of my house I was selling and my new purchase happen when communications with both my buyer's solicitor and my own were extremely strained and impossible to get hold of.
Unfortunately after some months of several nit picking questions and changes to their deposit funding my buyer dropped out of the purchase of my house with strange excuses in an email from my solicitor
After this deflation, I decided to try purchase the house with Manning Stainton without selling mine existing house. Faye kindly suggested(after listening to my nightmare story), to try their financial advisor to see if I could purchase the house with them.
Fortunately after a few meetings, and a few months later I became a landlord and bought my new home.
Without the help from both Rebecca and Faye and the other Manning Stainton staff I would still be in my other house. The lettings staff are great too. Thanks very much.
Comment on agent fees
I purchased a house so I didn't pay any fees.
My other house is now rented with Manning Stainton so I have paid some fees. It's quite pricey for processing the tenant applications but you are getting a very thougher and professional service from Manning Stainton and they do have a strict criteria for tenants which is what I wanted. Manning Stainton staff are always very helpful.
