We were looking for a home for our young family on and off over a period of about 2 years. Over this period, both Rob and Jo from Healy & Newsom showed us numerous properties, including second viewings. Every time they struck just the right tone - friendly, helpful, positive, and full of information and advice, both in person and on the phone.
During our house hunt we viewed maybe 30-40 properties with at least 12 other estate agencies across Brighton and Hove, including most of the best known ones. Not all these experiences were positive - some agents were pushy, nosey, overly personal, or, worse still, knew nothing about the house they were selling or the area it was in.
So, nothing like Rob or Jo, who made the viewing process a pleasure and patiently gave us space to view each house, even as we juggled our two small kids. They answered every question we put to them (and we asked a lot!). In the rare cases they didn't know the answer, they found out and called us back the same day.
When we finally found our new home, we were very happy that it was via Rob. He has been brilliant both during the viewings and the sale process. Even though the sale took a while and had its issues, it felt like he never took his eye off the ball and really made an extra effort to ensure things kept moving and all parties were informed and supported right through to completion. Thanks to that, we're really excited to have a new home!
